Brand Well-Being Index Empowers Organizations to Measure and Prioritize Health and Safety

Denver-based, BrandED Consultants Group, in collaboration with the Business Research Division, Leeds School of Business, at the University of Colorado Boulder, announces the launch of the first Brand Well-Being Index™, to address brand reputation and organization culture impacts like morale, recruitment and retention, absenteeism, mental health, closures, financial stability, and campus conflicts.

The BrandED Consultants Group developed the Brand Well-Being Index, to go beyond traditional brand measures of awareness and recognition, and delve into the core of an organization – a pledge to the health and safety of its stakeholders, including current employees and patrons, and prospective employees and patrons.

The Brand Well-Being Index measures health and safety factors, associated with brand reputation and organization culture, across six categories, and based on a weighted rating system (1-5), the organization receives a brand well-being score, reflective of stakeholder perceptions and experiences.

Upon completion of the survey, the assessment team analyzes data to identify patterns and trends, report findings, and guide organizations through the process of refreshing brand strategies and strategic plans, and positions organizations as a place that values their stakeholder’s well-being.

The Brand Well-Being Index score provides baseline data to empower organizations and their stakeholders to make more informed decisions, identify areas for improvement, increase productivity, reduce costs, and align brand reputation and organization culture.

Rex Whisman, Founder and Chief Strategist for the BrandED Consultants Group says, “it is important for us to create well-being centric strategies that reflect the growing expectations from internal stakeholders, that their organization delivers a culture of health and safety, and demonstrates to external stakeholders, a brand reputation reflective of this commitment.”

Brian Lewandowski, Executive Director for CU Boulder’s Business Research Division, says, “our team is committed to this promise, and confident the Brand Well-Being Index serves as a critical resource to promote the health and safety of stakeholders.”

The Brand Well-Being Index was evaluated by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Colorado Boulder to ensure the survey complies with ethical standards and protects the rights and welfare of participants.
